Enjoy. #food #chinesefood #chicken #recipe #chinesechicken #tesscooks4u #recipevideo How to Make Chinese Walnut Chicken ~ Chinese Food Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 pound 1/4" slice chicken breast or thighs 1 egg white 1 tbsp. soy sauce 3-6 tbsp. cornstarch - enough to coat chicken oil for frying 1/4 cup walnuts - whole or chopped 1/4 cup frozen peas (thawed) - optional 1/4 cup chopped garden onions - optional Sauce: 1 cup mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp. condensed sweetened milk 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2-3 tsp. maple syrup or honey salt and white pepper Mix above ingredients together in a large bowl. In a bowl add the chicken, soy sauce, egg white and enough cornstarch to thoroughly coat the chicken. In a large deep pan, add oil and bring up to 375 degrees. Fry chicken in batches. Each batch will take approximately 3-4 minutes depending on the size of your chicken pieces. Fry until crispy golden brown. Remove and drain briefly on paper towel. Once all chicken is cooked, add the chicken to the white sauce. Add walnuts, peas and garden onions. Stir gently until all chicken pieces are coated. Enjoy.
